PILLAR 6 – Instruments for nanomaterials application
PARALLEL SESSION 6.1 Nano from lab to fab: upscaling
Promising new advanced materials and processes with a high potential to revolutionise European industry continue to appear in laboratory. Scaling these up to reach industrial scale applications is challenging, with reliability and cost-effectiveness crucial in the multi-step process that starts from new designs, materials, testing methods and tools. This session will review the latest efforts in the multidisciplinary process of upscaling, involving concerted actions between research, industry and the facilitating infrastructures.
