Assoc. Prof. Jana Drbohlavova is a chemist by education. She holds a master degree in physical and applied chemistry (Brno University of Technology (BUT), Czech Republic) and a PhD in physical chemistry (Universite Claude Bernard Lyon 1, France). Since 2008, she has been working as junior researcher in BUT and since 2011 as a senior researcher in Central European Institute of Technology. Since 2017 she has been seconded as a national expert to the European Commission, DG RTD. Her current focus is on policy work in the field of nanosafety, governance and regulatory aspects of nanomaterials at European level as well as reinforcing stakeholders and citizens engagement with nanotechnologies research and innovation.
