Plenary sessions
The plenary session will include talks and panel discussions given by research and innovation policy makers, prestigious researchers, including representatives of industry.
The aim of plenary sessions is to initiate stimulating discussions and exchange ideas on key policy, scientific, industrial and societal issues in advanced materials and nanotechnology.
The keynote speakers will be announced soon.
Parallel oral sessions
including interactive sessions with panel discussions
The parallel sessions will focus on specific societal needs (such as energy, transportation, healthcare), that can be met by nanotechnology, advanced materials, nano-based medical technologies, etc. Related policy issues will be discussed.
The aim of parallel sessions is to present the status of European technology development in nanotechnology and advanced materials industries and present their contribution to innovation in key industrial sectors. Therefore, in all sessions, during the panel discussions, special attention will be given to the industrial applications of nanotechnology/advanced materials science.
